Actually i stayed in another resort, Junansa Resort..... need to take boat to Kg Duku for a meeting at 8.30pm. when we on our way to Kg Duku to meet others, our boat suddenly stopped. Power failure, Engine failure..... we stranded for about half an hour on the sea, in dark.

huh, luckily the boat got 2 engines, at last we go to Kg Duku with 1 engine.

My company just started a new project by Department of Marine Park Malaysia. We participate as GIS/IT Consultant and Project Management group.

As one of the project officer, I have the chance to go to the study sites. As u all know, I was away to islands from 25th-29th March to Pulau Tioman, Pulau Tinggi and Pulau Sibu.

The trip has a very tight schedule. very tiring but very enjoy....

I have lots of photos.... now let's look at a few nice one before i sort all of them.

My Singapore cousin, ah choon gor gor, get married on the 14th Feb, 2009.

My whole family went to Singapore to attend his wedding ceremony....

A quite tight schedule but we really enjoyed the time when all the SIOW's SIAU's SEOW's get together.....

My Thailand Trip

It was my first Thailand trip in my life......

I went there on the 24th Nov, 2008 and scheduled to come back Malaysia on the 30th Nov, 2008.

It will take a long time for me to write story for the whole week. And, you know, I don't have much time for it. So, let's look at a few photos taken during my trip there....

This is Pattaya Floating Market, a new floating market located in Pattaya. See the photo on the right, see anything interesting? hahaha, take a look at the toilet sign.... :-)

This is a very nice place to go.... It is a grape farm, but the place is so so so..... There's a lake, lots of flower, and a wind mill..... it's a very large grape farm... oh, by the way, this place is called Silverlake. And, beside Silverlake is Khao Chee Chan, also known as Buddha Mountain, where a giant Buddha image lasered into the hill’s face.

Khao Chee Chan - Built in 1996 to commemorate King Bhumibol’s golden jubilee, the 50th anniversary of his accession to the throne, the King’s children with members of the department of Geological Resources and the nearby Asian Institute of Technology started the construction. Using American laser technology the image was carved into the sheer cliff in just two days, but It would take many months to fill the grooved image with the required gold leaf. The cost of the project is said to be over three million dollars.

This is the long-neck people village... This girl is only one of them.

This place called Walking Street, located in Pattaya. This is the most famous nightlife attractions to tourists. I think from the photos you can guess what inside the street....

Walking Street is a famous and vibrant part of the city located in south of Pattaya Thailand. It is a location that is well-known to many tourists visiting Thailand, and especially to the male visitors. It is also known as International Meeting Street. Walking Street runs from the Beach Road to the Bali-Hi Pier, and there are entrance arches at either end. The street is traffic-free at night (from 6:00pm).

Elephants...... just along the roadside... but the smell, aiyoh....

Wat Maha That in Ayutthaya

This is The Head of the Sandstone Buddha Image.

Wat Maha That is believed to have been made in 1374 during the reign of King Borom Rachathirat 1. The current name was given during the reign of King Ramesuan [ 1388 to 1395 ]. This wat was a royal monastery and the spiritual centre of the city. In the period 1610-1628 A.D. the main central prang collapsed, but was restored and heightened in 1633. It was restored and remodelled many times in the later Ayutthaya period, until it finally collapsed in 1904. Restoration work by the Fine Arts Department in 1956 revealed many artefacts including the relics of the Buddha once housed in the stupa, other Buddha images and votive tablets, now on display in other museums.

And, this is the the most interesting part......

Remember there's a riot in Bangkok sometime in November 2008 which cause the Thailand Suvarnabhumi Bangkok Airport to close????

And, I'm one of the victim..... The airport is closed... How to come back to Malaysia??

Sigh, after several calls to Malaysian Embassy, MAS office in Thailand, MAS office in Malaysia, and even calls to our Foreign Minister - at last, we managed to confirm a place in MAS flight on the 29th Nov, 2008.

So, we went to U-Tapao International Airport (temporary airport for international flights). Aiyoh, so many cars and people..... I can say that every inch of the airport was filled by human....

After long long time, and after squeezing here and there, at last we (my boss family and i), managed to get into the check-in counters area, and lastly into the boarding area.

We reached U-Tapao airport at about 3pm (our flight scheduled at about 7.55pm). However, after several hours wait and wait, we waited until 11pm..... and the MAS person-in-charge told us that the MAS plane has fly back to Malaysia without passenger.... because the plane cannot land... not enough parking space down there because many other airlines cannot find their passenger to board.

So, we were sent to a hotel for overnight stay, and sent us back to U-Tapao the next morning (aiyoh, not again...).

2nd day in U-Tapao seems a bit different, more organized. And, at last, we managed to get into plane at about 3pm.... after 24 hrs stranded, at last we were in the plane... yahoo!!! and we are in the MAS Airbus aircraft - big plane leh....

3. Some airlines sent ah kua there for entertainment... hehe... but too bad, they're outside, i'm inside... cannot see.

Do you know where is it? It's inside the boarding hall... full of rubbish... rubbish here and there....

2. the metal detector gate is falling down, falling down.... :-(
3. smoking area.... can imagine how many cigarettes being burnt?

At last, I'm in the aircraft!!!!!! Yes, I can go back to Malaysia liao...

and, i'm safe to Malaysia on the 30th Nov, 2008..... evening at abt 5.30pm.....

Outstation to Terengganu. Came back to KL through Gua Musang - Cameron Highland - Tapah. This route is shorter in distance but longer in terms of time (coz can only drive slowly ma).....

Only manage to take photo at Cameron Bharat tea plantation..... because of raining and rushing time.....

on the 6th May, i have a function in Putrajaya International Convention Centre (PICC). i din have breakfast that morning.... suddenly at noon, i feel so cold.... my body shivering (i never have that kind of feeling before).

then my boss sent me to clinic.... my body temperature went up to 39.6 deg... aiyoh, so high..... then i got my medicine and went back home.... that day, i cannot eat. vomit the whole day.... stomach kang kang eh... medicine oso cannot go in.

7th May 2008

still not well... can eat a bit bit only... evening, went back to clinic. temperature 38.5, doctor cannot do much. asked me to continue eating medicine, have to.

8th May 2008

temperature still 38 deg, but medicine finished. so went back to clinic to get new medicine and additional 2 days MC. doctor said, if still not well, have to take blood test the next day.

i felt not well after taking the new medicine. so, only took panadol.

9th May 2008

continue with medication.

10th May 2008

morning went back clinic to take blood test. at noon, doctor confirmed that i have dengue, but blood count still ok.... so ask me to have dripping and see the condition next day.

so, doctor put needle on my hand to have dripping.... after that went back home with the needle in my hand.

11th May 2008

took another blood test. this time my blood count really low leh.... so, doctor gave me choice - to admit to hosp or take another dripping.

so, mama asked me to admit to hosp. so, went back to clinic to get letter.

at 3pm, ah wee sent me to Hospital Serdang. took another blood test. my blood count really really low.... immediately sent me to one of the bed there to start dripping again...

wait and wait... until at nite only tell me no bed in Hospital Serdang... they wanna send me to Hospital Putrajaya..... wait and wait and wait.... mama and ah wee wait and wait outside.... at last, at about 11pm they sent me to Hospital Putrajaya (using ambulance leh...).

so, without food the whole day, at last i was in Hospital Putrajaya bed at nearly midnite already......

and, there's gone Mother's Day that day.......

In hospital, nothing else to do except eating and sleeping... and, of course, the doctors and nurses took my blood for testing....

wah lao eh, already no place to take, even foot oso they took.... wah lao, very painful oh....

at last, i can go back home..... but it's already evening time.... wait for medicine and letter to release me home....

last weekend, 12th-13th April, i went to Kuala Klawang, a remote kampung in Jelebu, Negeri Sembilan..... that's my boss kampung la......

all company staff and their family went there for Kenduri Kesyukuran....... but that's not the thing i wanna introduce.....

i wanna introduce you all SATE TULANG.....

this sate tulang, ohh, very nice, delicious, hor jiak, sedap, ................

heard that only this place got ppl sell sate tulang. and very famous. you have to order earlier. sate tulang - made of chicken bone (the softer & small small bone part.....).

and, of course, normal sate oso got...... total 500 sate for the nite.....

then the next day, we went to Jeram Toi, but too bad, forgot to take the air terjun photo.... the best pic for u all to see the air terjun is as bellow:

the water is soooooooo colddddddddddddd........ really like ice water ohh.....

this little child is my colleague's son.... although cold, he still wanna to play.... but he continuously said 'sejuk, sejuk'.... kah kah kah..... so interesting....

We had a grand dinner on the 6th April, huh, dun jealous hor xiao beh and tiger.....

VIP House in KETENGAH

hmmmm..... i went to KETENGAH again from 15-17th March, 2008. This is my 2nd trip there in March. aiyoh, so tired oh......

this time we stayed in KETENGAH's VIP House, only for VIP (hehehe.....). The house looks nice from outside, with large garden and land area, but the house is not that big..... The house, i think, built in 1970s/80s, coz inside the house not so nice.....

but, it's free. wat else do you expect.... too bad inside no air-cond, except only 1 bedroom.... but when stay there, it's hard to get nice food..... :-(

so, this coming weekend i'm going to Terengganu again, this time to Kuala Terengganu...... can see something different.........

hope that the following week won't have to go again....

TSUNAMI IN MALAYSIA!!!!!!

TSUNAMI...... when u hear this word, how do you feel??

Yesterday, 8th March 2008, is Malaysian Election day.... After 7pm yesterday, shocking news came one by one..... (the tsunami came nearer and nearer to Malaysia land).....

I was so shocked when i saw "Datuk Seri Samy Vellu lost in Sg Siput" wordings shown in TV, followed by "Datuk Seri Sharizat lost to Anwar's daughter in Lembah Pantai".

wah, these news really surprised almost everyone in Malaysia.....

and the biggest tsunami came..... BN lost 2/3 majority, and lost Kedah, Penang, Perak and Selangor state government to the opposition......

aiyo, UMNO, MCA, MIC, Gerakan and even the opposition themselves were very surprised with the election results.....

POLITICAL TSUNAMI..... what is the effects to the Malaysian?? let's see what will happen in the next 4 years.......

Terengganu trip

i've been going to Terengganu since December last year.... for what???

my company got a project in Terengganu, at a place named KETENGAH. We always stay in Rumbia Resort in Paka.

where is KETENGAH??? never heard before leh... refer Terengganu map below:

the whole area is KETENGAH region, the small red circle is our client office locatin. this is a quite remote area...... but, a calm and quiet place.......... after 7pm no activities at all...... :-(

On 13th Jan, 2008, me and mama went to buy a chilli plant... very nice... buy to decorate for new year...

here's the picture....

7 days later....

the leaves looks so tired....

8 days later....

the leaves all gone... (someone cut the leaves... guess who) but the chilli still fresh, nice and round....

13 days later......

the leaves has gone, thought the chilli should grow.. but... looks like 'pu tao kan' (raisin) liao....

15 days later....

aiyoh, magic oh.... the chilli turns into flower..... eh??? how come????

u all must know what happen liao kua....

My 'Kai Xin Guo'

chinese new year on the way....

that day went for breakfast, that aunty sells many plants for CNY..... so, i bought one....

i bought 'kai xin guo' plant.... very cheap... but very special..... i bought for only RM5... tot very cheap... but ... but.... carrefour only sell RM3.99 leh..... kanasai.....

however, hope this plant will bring happiness for all of us....

p.s. i have another plant story to tell.... wait for another few days... got surprise oh.....

tiger, i won't wait until after CNY only put new post.... see hah.... few days later i'll put another new post about my another pot of plant.....

hmmm..... now is already 2008... however, wanna share with u all some photo taken at shopping mall..... not CNY decorations but x'mas one.... actually Mid Valley won the competition but i din go there.... so no photo....

i passed by sunway pyramid, it's very nice at nite.... like orchard road in spore..... however, still, i din go mah..... hehehe....

Jaya Supermarket in Section 14, Petaling Jaya, is scheduled to be demolished after Chinese New Year!!!

Think almost all Chinese UM Students (and oso all college students nearby) been here before.....

Of course, including me!!! Much of my memories were inside that blue building.... I'll miss those time where me and my frens (and oso the BP xiao beh, and oso that tiger tang, pig siow, beh tang...) shop-shop, eat-eat, kia-kia, shng shng, etc...... inside there....

my favourite spot includes the Cable Car Restaurant, Guardian, Popular, Reject Shop, Da Ren Chan Ting, and the supermarket.....

I'll miss u........

Happy New Year 2008

I was on the way back from Terengganu (but already in KL Town Centre) on 31st Dec, 07 when the clock showed 12 o'clock in the midnight..... and just on time to watch fireworks..... from sg wang, klcc, and dataran merdeka (not so sure of dataran, but there's 3 places in KL got fireworks).

and, u know, i slept most of the time on New Year day...... not working mar...... 1st Jan holiday for Selangor......

So, wish all of you Happy New Year.... Hope this year is a better year for all of us..... dun wan like on 31st dec 07, where

i left my bag in Terengganu hotel (really blur that day).....

aiyo, just a little bit ok from sick early of the month, then come the 'cough' virus..... cannot sleep well at nite....

this december really a sick month for me..... already had various kind of medicine but still....

and, the worst case, I HATE TO HAVE COUGH SYRUP!!!!!

hmm..... 1 year buy 1 original CD to reward myself (dun laugh) and this is first time i bought pre-sales version album...

the package include: 1CD+ 101页写真集+ 愛的大遊行香港精華版 DVD+ 2008 年曆 - huh, good deal man....

strongly recommended album.... go and get one.... read from newspaper - sold until out of stock leh...

Today already 27th Nov, 34 days to go to 2008.

2007 is not a good year for me, i think.

today until 10th Dec will be very very very busy..... reports, system, manual, expo, seminar - all within this coming 2 weeks... aiyo, can i really tahan oh??????

some more, plus plus plus all sort of problems - really made my head pening.......

hope everything will be fine.... hopefully i can come back here by mid of next month......
